Showcasing new research, partnerships, and youth leadership for gender equality in the digital age

10 July 2025 – Geneva: At the WSIS+20 High-Level Event, the EQUALS Global Partnership marked a significant milestone with the launch of a flagship publication and the preview of a new global digital skills programme - both key pillars of the EQUALS 2.0 vision

A Landmark Release: The EQUALS Research Report 2025

The session featured the official launch of the EQUALS Research Report 2025, led by our research partner KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology). This new report brings together fresh global data, in-depth analysis, and actionable recommendations for advancing gender empowerment in the digital age.

The report is currently available on this webpage and will be published soon on the EQUALS' website.

Previewing the Her Digital Skills Badge Programme

We also introduced the Her Digital Skills Badge Programme, a global capacity-building initiative co-founded by EY, GSMA, ITU, and W4 (Women’s WorldWide Web). This programme provides free, accessible training and a verified digital badge to help women and girls strengthen their digital skills and visibility in the digital economy. The official launch of the programme is expected in the coming weeks.

Celebrating Youth Leadership: A Gender Champion Spotlight

The session also featured an inspiring intervention by an ITU160 Gender Champion, who shared her personal journey and the importance of equipping young women and girls with the skills and confidence to lead in digital spaces. Her testimony highlighted the power of youth voices in shaping inclusive tech futures.

Looking Ahead

We are grateful to the WSIS+20 organizing team and to our partners - KAIST, ITU, EY, GSMA, and W4 -for their collaboration and support during this important session.

As EQUALS enters a new phase of activity and engagement, we look forward to continuing this momentum, sharing key outcomes, and building stronger, more inclusive digital ecosystems together.

Stay connected for updates and upcoming announcements.

I had a fantastic experience at the Emirates Airlines DXB Terminal while traveling through Dubai International Airport. Flying with Emirates was smooth and well-organized from start to finish. The Emirates Airlines DXB Terminal is modern, spacious, and easy to navigate, with efficient check-in counters and fast security procedures. I loved the comfortable seating areas, premium lounges, and wide range of dining and shopping options. Overall, the Emirates Airlines DXB Terminal delivers a truly luxurious and stress-free travel experience.

The samagra portal ekyc process helps in maintaining accurate records. While doing samagra portal ekyc, I found it easy to verify my identity. It improves transparency and ensures that benefits are provided only to eligible individuals without errors or duplication.

Hello, we had a peaceful, comfortable, and memorable trip to Switzerland. It became much more significant when I travelled with my father since we were able to spend uninterrupted time together. AirlinesCityOffices made the trip less stressful by keeping us informed. Everything felt straightforward and manageable at the airport. We unwound and relished the serene atmosphere while in flight. The splendour of Switzerland greeted us in the most exquisite manner upon our arrival.
