Projects

Browse through projects from around the world that are empowering girls and women with digital skills for life, work and leadership. These include projects empowering girls both inside and outside of school, professional development programmes for women, initiatives building teacher capacities, and policies, laws and plans aiming for structural change.

ITWorks: Womens Empowerment Program (WEP)

This programme builds the technological skills and self-confidence of low-income and economically disenfranchised women so that they can pursue careers in Israel's high-tech and communications sectors.

ITWorks: Youth Empowerment Program (YEP)

This Israeli programme provides Arab youth aged 15-18, many of whom have
dropped out of school, with training opportunities in IT and computer repairs along with access to mentorship opportunities and support for exam preparation.

Improved Livelihoods for Underprivileged Women in North Lebanon

This project in Lebanon trained 10 female facilitators to empower 500 women in the regions of Akkar and Donniyeh with ICT skills, gender concepts, business and fair trade knowledge.
