Projects

These include projects empowering girls both inside and outside of school, professional development programmes for women, initiatives building teacher capacities, and policies, laws and plans aiming for structural change.

UNESCO-MERCK Africa Research Summit (UNESCO-MARS)

This regional summit, organized every three years, aims to build STEM research capacity on the African continent, with a particular focus on young researchers and women researchers.

UTS High School Engineering and IT Projects

This project-based, in-curriculum program for secondary school students aims to increase girls' and teachers' interest and confidence in Engineering and IT.

UTS STEM x Play Primary School Program

This 6-week in-curriculum program targets primary school students in Year 5 and 6 as well as their parents and teachers, to catalyse generational perception change and build confidence and interest in exploring with STEM.
