Projects

Browse through projects from around the world that are empowering girls and women with digital skills for life, work and leadership. These include projects empowering girls both inside and outside of school, professional development programmes for women, initiatives building teacher capacities, and policies, laws and plans aiming for structural change.

National ICT Girls Empowerment Competition

This competition, for teams of girls aged 13-18, calls for the creation of digital solutions to problems in their communities.

This South African organization offers workshops, hands-on experiences, and participatory science projects to children in Grades 4-11 from disadvantaged communities, with the aim to spark their interest in STEM fields and careers.

OWSD (Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World) PhD Fellowships

This fellowship is offered to women scientists from science- and technology-lagging countries to undertake PhD research in the natural, engineering and information technology sciences at a host institute in another country in the Global South.
